Your landscape photo had a very good contrast from the blue sky to the green fields. It is easy for the viewers eyes to move around the photo. You may have slightly lightened the background too much with the levels adjustment. The sky is very bright compared to the darker green grass and it moves the attention more to the sky then your subject. But overall you did a good job at creating contrast in the area you were in.
Overall every photo is very good. I really like the action one. It has a very good angle of the squirrel jumping. The only critique I would make would be to bring the squirrel in focus more. Besides that I love how the background is out of focused. Most of the photo have colors that mostly complement each other. Such as the multiple shades of brown. Overall great action photo!
For your action photo, the blurry background makes the focal point well defined. It's nice to see how you got to capture that image since squirrels are always moving. Maybe next time try sharpening the image a little more, but besides that good job!
